Traffic Travis is an excellent little internet marketing tool developed by super affiliate Mark Ling. It can do a ton of really cool stuff including keyword research, general website analysis, and functions for SEO and PPC.

Traffic Travis comes in two versions – FREE and Professional. What’s really nice though is the free version is completely functional which makes Traffic Travis a must download software tool.

Here is a little about what Traffic Travis can do:

On-page SEO Analysis – This module provides customized tips for on-page SEO. Just input one or more pages to analzyze and from the generated reports, you will be able to see how well your pages are optimized for a particular keyword. It gives an easy to understand letter grade of your page (A-F) and points out things to improve and how to address them.
Backlink Checker – This feature checks backlinks coming to your website. It also includes useful statistics like PRs, IP address, domain and the anchor text used to link to you. You can also use this to see your competitor’s links as well.
Rank Checker – See exactly where your pages rank in the search engines for various keywords
Keyword research – Traffic Travis can come up with a comprehensive list of keywords relevant to your campaign. It can also provide you with keyword variations or alternate keywords together from search volumes from top search engines such as Yahoo, Google and Bing.
Competitor Analysis – The module provides you a list of the top sites in your niche and which is useful in trying to understand their PPC strategy. Starting with their keyword list, the software can give you the list of keywords your competitors are bidding on, and how often your competitors’ ads are found.

Using Traffic Travis

Traffic Travis is one of those tools that I use all the time in my day to day business. I use the keyword research module all the time when starting any project and I love the on-page analysis modules to make sure I’ve setup my sites properly.

When you start using the tool you’ll definitely be impressed by how professional the program looks. The interface is very easy to use, and you’ll be comfortable with it in no time.

Mark Ling has invested a lot of time and money into this software and it shows. If you’re not sure how a particular module works, you can watch the embedded help videos in the software to help you out.

I also like the fact that Traffic Travis is being continuously updated so it won’t get out of date anytime soon.

The only limitation with the free version of Traffic Travis is the number of projects you can have, and in a few other features. Traffic Travis professional version has no cap on the number of projects, but it costs a one time fee of $99. There’s also a trial for the professional version as well.
